Adenosine triphosphate | ATP |
NEN brand fluorescent nucleotide analogs are biologically active with a variety of DNA and/or RNA polymerases, including Taq, Klenow fragment, SP6, T3, T7, and Sequenase™. Labeling methods such as nick translation, random priming, polymerase chain reaction, 3'-end labeling, or in vitro transcription may be used. Labeled probes may be used in applications including (but not limited to) microarrays and chromosome mapping. |

Guanosine triphosphate | GTP
Uridine triphosphate | UTP
Deoxyadenosine triphosphate | dATP
Deoxycytidine triphosphate | dCTP
Deoxyguanosine triphosphate | dGTP
Deoxyuridine triphosphate | dUTP
Dideoxyadenosine triphosphate | ddATP | Biologically active and can be incorporated with a variety of DNA polymerases. Terminates further incorporation and enables identification of the complementary base for applications like DNA sequencing and detection of point mutations. |
Dideoxycytidine triphosphate | ddCTP
Dideoxyguanosine triphosphate | ddGTP
Dideoxyuridine triphosphate | ddUTP |
Note: Some analogs demonstrate variations in relative performance depending upon nucleotide and fluorophore selection due to enzyme preferences.
