大腸癌（Colorectal cancers: CRC）は、世界における癌死亡原因の第2位です（2020年）。大腸癌患者の早期診断と直接的な治療方針を補助するために、分子／遺伝子プロファイリングは非常に重要です。当社の新しいColorectal Cancer Panel ctDNA Reference Standardは、CRCに特異的な変異を有する細胞株を混合して作られています。このCRCパネルはctDNAを模倣しており、AKT1、APC、BRAF、KRAS、PIK3CA、TP53といった遺伝子における主な治療対象となりうるバリアントを検出する際に行うNGSやそのほかの分子生物学的ワークフローを検証するための精度管理試料として使用することができます（遺伝子の全リストは下表参照）。パネル内のバリアントのアレル頻度は1.25%と低く、対照となるネガティブコントロールであるHD843を用いてさらに希釈することが可能であり、術後およびアジュバント治療後の状態を再現し、最小残存病変（minimal residual disease: MRD）の評価を可能にします。
この精度管理試料は、予後を改善するために腫瘍の遺伝子構成に応じて治療を調整するために使用されるコンパニオン診断（CDx）検査の検証にも使用できます。Colorectal Cancer Panel ctDNA Reference Standardは、ISO 9001:2015およびISO 13485:2016の下で製造された、特性のよく明らかにされている細胞株由来の臨床的に関連する改変細胞株の混合物です。
