siGENOME Non-Targeting siRNA Control Pools
Negative control siRNA pools, each comprised of four siRNAs designed to target no known genes in human, mouse, or rat. Recommended for determination of baseline cellular responses in RNAi experiments.
siGENOME Non-Targeting siRNA Control Pools are highly functional, chemically synthesized, and mostly unmodified negative control siRNA duplexes for experiments in human mouse and rat cells. siGENOME Non-Targeting Control Pools are each a pool of four siRNAs, allowing the effective concentration of each siRNA to be reduced, and thus further minimize off-target effects. siGENOME Non-Targeting Control siRNAs were designed to have a minimum of 4 mismatches to all human, mouse and rat genes, and confirmed to have minimal targeting by genomewide microarray analysis.
Changes in mRNA or protein levels in cells treated with these controls reflect a baseline cellular response that can be compared to the levels in cells treated with target-specific siRNA.
siGENOME Non-Targeting Pool #1 is comprised of Non-Targeting siRNAs #1 through 4
siGENOME Non-Targeting Pool #2 is comprised of Non-Targeting siRNAs #2 through 5
