Can both DNA and RNA be extracted from the same FFPE curl?

For most reference standards, we extract either DNA or RNA and confirm the presence of verified variants at either the DNA or RNA level as part of the QC process. Please check the product page to see if we recommend extracting DNA, RNA, or either from a given reference standard. 

For HD852 (Mimix Geni Onco Mix 1 DNA/RNA FFPE Reference Standard) and HD876 (Mimix Geni Negative FFPE Reference Standard), we have extracted either DNA or RNA from individual FFPE curls cut from the same block. However, we have not tested methods to extract both DNA and RNA from the same FFPE curl.
