What is TMB? How is it calculated for our reference standards?

TMB score stands for Tumor Mutational Burden. It is a quantitative measure of how many mutations (genetic changes) exist within a tumor's DNA.

TMB score is calculated for Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) samples using Illumina DRAGEN in Tumor-Only or Tumor-Normal Mode. For more information regarding the methodology, please refer to the Illumina DRAGEN documentation.
