Mimix reference standards are platform-agnostic and compatible across a range of platforms, including Next Generation Sequencing, droplet-digital PCR, real-time PCR and Sanger sequencing.

How Mimix reference standards are made

Characterized cell lines containing specific variants are blended to create standards with a few or multiple variants of known allelic frequencies. The blended cell mixture is then subjected to quality control analysis and processed to be available in a variety of formats.

Multiple mutations within a single sample

We use the Mimix™ Myeloid Reference Standard to validate the performance of OGT’s Myeloid NGS enrichment panels. The inclusion of multiple mutations within a single sample is particularly valuable.
