Our cell lines power innovation across the industry, and within Revvity. Leveraging our immunoassay and antibody technologies, we have developed a collection of cell lines with functional validation, bringing you greater assurance in the quality of our cell line portfolio.

Different Forms of Validation

Revvity has an extensive collection of HTRF™ (Homogeneous Time Resolved Technology) assays, a FRET-based, no-wash technology with a wide range of applications. HTRF assays provide key data for knockout cell line validation. A loss of fluorescence signal when comparing wild-type cells with engineered cells provides high levels of confidence that our knockout cell lines lack functional protein of the targeted gene.

BioLegend™ antibodies are designed to target unique epitopes on specific proteins, and they can be optimized for a variety of readouts, including western blot, flow cytometry, immunofluorescence, immunocytochemistry, and immunohistochemistry. Using these antibodies across different applications can validate our cell lines. A loss of signal when comparing wild-type to knockout cells demonstrates a loss of protein expression of target gene.
