What quantity of siRNA is needed to conduct a cell culture experiment?

We recommend that a screening concentration of 25 nM* final siRNA concentration be used for initial experiments, this concentration may subsequently be titrated in the range of 5 nM to 100 nM. Even at the highest recommended concentration, 1 nmol of siRNA is sufficient for preparation of 10 mL of a 100 nM siRNA solution. This is generally enough volume to transfect one complete 96-well or 24-well plate. * 25 nM = 25 nmol/L = 25 pmol/mL
