Can lentiviral particles be pseudotyped to target specific cells within a population?

With whole blood for example, it is possible to pseudotype lentiviral particles to specifically target certain cells within that population. This is usually done by modifying the viral envelope by inserting ligands, peptides, or single-chain antibodies into the receptor binding region. Usually the problem with doing this is that the transduction efficiencies (and therefore titers) are quite low.
