5-Fusion Multiplex (Negative Control)
The 5-Fusion Multiplex (Negative Control) FFPE RNA Reference Standard is a highly-characterized, biologically-relevant quality control material used to assess the performance of targeted NGS, RT-PCR and RT-qPCR assays aimed at detecting gene fusions. Each FFPE section is composed of a formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) cell line verified not to contain EML4-ALK, CCDC6-RET, SLC34A2-ROS1, TPM3-NTRK1 and ETV6-NTRK3 fusions.
Targeted NGS, endpoint RT-PCR and RT-qPCR platforms give researchers much greater power when profiling tumor samples. However, they present challenges surrounding sample variability, RNA extraction procedures, RNA quantification, platform bias, and potential failure to detect biomarkers.
With this product you are able to:
- Evaluate your workflow integrity from pre-analytical RNA extraction through to fusion detection
- Negative control for EML4-ALK, CCDC6-RET, SLC34A2-ROS1, TPM3-NTRK1 and ETV6-NTRK3 fusion detection panels
