The Idylla™ MSS Reference Standard is a 0% control for seven new microsatellite instability (MSI) markers in FFPE format. This product is a highly-characterized, cell line-derived quality control material which enables validation and routine monitoring of MSI testing, specifically on Biocartis' Idylla™ platform. The MSI cell blend ratio is 0% for this standard.


This product can be purchased with our Idylla™ MSI Reference Standard, which contains microsatellite instable cell lines in FFPE format.

The Idylla™ MSI assay allows for qualitative detection of a novel panel of seven monomorphic homopolymer biomarkers to identify human cancers with microsatellite instability (MSI), in a fully automated manner. Horizon's MSI and MSS FFPE Reference Standards enable validation and routine monitoring of MSI testing on the Idylla™ platform. The platform and our MSI reference standard contain seven MSI markers: ACVR2A, BTBD7, DIDO1, MRE11, RYR3, SEC31A and SULF2. This MSS product should be used as a control with our Idylla™ MSI FFPE Reference Standard.
