Mimix™ Male Genomic DNA, gDNA Reference Standard

This Mimix™ gDNA reference standard is biologically relevant quality control material which can be used to assess the performance and consistency of various molecular biology assays such as qPCR, ddPCR, Sanger sequencing and NGS.

While patient-derived reference materials are variable and perishable, Revvity Mimix™ reference standards provide a reliable source of consistent control material with patient-like performance. Our human male gDNA is sourced from a single controlled cell line, ensuring uniform results across various molecular testing platforms. Manufactured under ISO 9001 and ISO 13485, this cell line-derived reference material provides a reliable foundation for monitoring and verifying your research and diagnostic workflows.

Batch-specific supplementary NGS data

This Revvity Mimix reference standard comes with a batch specific supplementary NGS data. You can access the VCF file here. WGS for each batch was performed on Illumina platform and the generated ~30x data was analyzed using Illumina DRAGEN Germline Pipeline for mapping, sorting, and variant calling. Please note that the reads were aligned to GRCh38/hg38.
